WWW FYI

no-www.org is not an RFC and has no ability to deprecate www or anything else any more than other bloggers have the ability to deprecate anything not under their direct control. Referencing a site that hasn’t been updated since 2005 does not lend weight to an argument that any particular piece of software should break existing functionality.
